Property Sector Collaboration Gains Momentum After Change the Narrative Conference

Since the inaugural Change the Narrative Conference last year, Durban has seen a wave of action and mobilisation across multiple sectors—and the momentum is only growing.

A delegation of property developers and investors from across KwaZulu-Natal sat down with the City Manager of eThekwini and a team of his senior delegates. The session, organised by the All Shall Prosper Movement, is a direct result of our commitment to turning ideas into impact.

The goal? To break down barriers, reduce red tape, and strengthen collaboration between the private sector and the City. Together, they engaged in open dialogue around practical business solutions and clearing the path for future development and investment in Durban.

This kind of engagement reflects a powerful shift in our city’s direction. When top-level public and private stakeholders are willing to sit around the same table, listen, learn, and build together—real transformation becomes possible.

“We’re not just talking about change—we’re building it.”

From shared vision to shared action, the energy sparked at Change the Narrative continues to ripple across the city. And with every meeting, strategy, and handshake, we move one step closer to a more connected, prosperous Durban.
